Condition
This beautiful box is in excellent condition for its age. It has sound structure and no significant flaws. There is a fine superficial age crack to the raised panel on the lid which isn't overly noticeable.
All of the Mother of Pearl inlay is present and secure, bar one tiny piece missing on the rear of the lid. Again this is not overly obvious. All of the beaded moulding is present and secure.
The new interior linings are in clean unused condition. The original gold panel inside the lid is in very good condition with no splits.
