This is a lovely faux leather covered presentation box for a necklace or a string of pearls/beads.
The Exterior
This beautiful presentation box has a classic rectangular shape with stylish angled corners. It has a beautiful black faux leather finish with embossed gold swag decoration to the lid. It has a lovely polished gold metal clasp closure. The box opens easily by pressing the clasp.
The Interior
The interior compartment has its original cream velvet covered tray. This has a raised mound which a necklace or string of pearls/beads can be placed around.
The inside of the lid has its original padded cream silk panel and cream silk linings to the walls. The same silk covers the region between the lid and the compartment. The silk panel has an 'Elizabeth Cannon' logo in embossed gold lettering. This relates to an Antiques Dealer in Colchester, UK. The box would've originally housed one of this dealers own pieces of jewellery.
The leather to the top edges of the compartment and inside lid has embossed gold detail. This complements the swag detail on the box's exterior.
The velvet tray has a silk pull tab which enables you to lift it out of the box with ease.
Age
10-15 years old.
Condition
This box is in good pre-loved condition. It has sound structure and its clasp is secure.
There is only minor light wear to the faux leather finish.
There is some light wear/light staining to the interior velvet and silk.

Interior Tray:
25.7 by 7.7cm.
There is an approximate depth of 1.4cm around the raised mound in the tray, and an approxiate 1.5cm width between the mound and front/rear edges of the tray. Any pearls or beads intended for this box will need to have a diameter of 1.4cm or less.

International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your parcel has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.
