A lovely small Italian jewellery box with a decorative polished plaque to the lid and a newly refurbished interior.

This is a lovely small Italian jewellery box with a beautiful newly refurbished interior.
The Exterior
This box has beautiful faux figured wood veneer which has a lovely deep cherry wood like colour.
The lid has a beautiful polished silver plated plaque with a decorative hammered finish to the centre and fine beading detail to the edges. The plaque is stamped Lam Ag.
The bottom of the box has a new felt covering which will protect the surfaces of furniture.
The Interior
The interior compartment has been newly refurbished by ourselves. The base has a padded deep violet velvet panel and the walls have beautiful quality patterned paper linings which feature flowers and bees. The padded panel provides cushioned protection for jewellery.
Age
Modern, 10-15 years old.
Condition
This box is in very good pre-loved condition. It has sound structure and no dents or scratches. There is minor light wear to the veneered finish.
The plaque to the lid has a glossy shine and no tarnish. It has a very small amount of light wear.
The interior linings, being new, are in immaculate unworn condition.
The hinge is in good working order.
