Beautiful vintage jewellery box with large 3 dimensional carved Roses and leaves. Lovely handmade box made of various woods. Three compartments with new red velvet linings and a fitted mirror adorns the interior, also.

This is a beautiful vintage jewellery box, dating to the 1970s/1980s. It has beautiful floral decoration to the lid; an internal mirror, and new linings.
The Exterior
This box is made of a variety of woods, the colours of which contrast beautifully.
There are two beautiful large 3 dimensional carved Roses upon the lid, surrounded by two further raised budding Roses plus raised carved leaves and stems. The Roses and leaves are hand-painted.
The box is complete with its original hinges.
The Interior
The interior has a decorative hinged panel which is carved, hand-painted, and set with an oval mirror. It has three storage compartments which have been newly refurbished with new quality premium red velvet linings. These complement the colour of the Roses.
Condition
This box is in good condition for its age. It is structurally sound and has no knocks or nasty scratches.
The interior velvet linings are in excellent clean unworn condition, being new.
