The Exterior
This is a beautiful solid turned wood ring box with a stylish solid silver plaque to the lid. The silver is fully hallmarked and the wood has a beautiful grain. There is also a surprise silver feature inside the box; please see details of this in the interior section below.
The box has a simple push on lid which fits securely and snuggly into the body.
Hallmark/Maker's Mark/Age
The silver has a full English London Assay Office hallmark which dates the box to 1979. It also has the maker's mark, MJT.
The Interior
The interior has a beautifully tapered turned wood post for the storage of rings. Atop the post is a charming little solid silver frog!
Condition
This box is in excellent pre-loved condition. It has sound structure and only minor light wear to the wood and silver plaque.

Interior Compartment:
4.7cm diameter with a 2.8cm depth.
