This is a beautiful small turned wood box with a newly refurbished velvet lined compartment which is the ideal shape and size for holding a special single piece of jewellery.
The Exterior
This box is made of solid turned wood which has a beautiful grain and a lovely polished sheen. It has been created from a single piece of wood, hence the grain in the lid and the body of the box lines up.
The bottom of the box has its original felt covering which will protect the surfaces of furniture.
The Interior
The interior has a single circular compartment. This has been newly refurbished with beautiful new deep purple velvet linings. The base panel is plumply padded, providing cushioned protection for jewellery. The compartment is the ideal shape and size for the storage of a special single piece of jewellery, e.g, a ring, brooch or pendant. It would also make lovely storage for a special pair of earrings.

Condition
This beautiful box is in very good condition. It has sound structure and only very minor light age related wear. The interior velvet linings, being new, are in immaculate condition.
