This is a beautiful small vintage heart shaped jewellery box with a wonderful new padded velvet panel in the compartment. It dates to the 1970s/1980s.

This is a beautiful small vintage heart shaped jewellery box with a wonderful new padded velvet panel in the compartment. It dates to the 1970s/1980s.
The Exterior
This box is made of numerous varieties of wood which have lovely different colours and grains that contrast beautifully together. It has a gorgeous heart shaped form and a simple lift off lid.
The bottom of the box has its original felt covering which will protect the surfaces of furniture.
The Interior
The base of the compartment has a beautiful new chocolate brown velvet panel which complements the colours of the wood. The panel is plumply padded, providing cushioned protection for jewellery, and its reverse side has a pretty floral patterned paper backing. The panel has been fabricated in such a way as to make it removable. Whilst it allows practical soft storage for jewellery, it can also be removed to allow the original beautiful woods of the base to be seen. These are far too beautiful to be permanently covered!
Condition
This beautiful box is in excellent condition. It has sound structure and no cracks.
The interior velvet panel, being new, is in immaculate condition.

Please use the following measurements to ensure the box is the right size for your requirements. It is a darling little box which will hold several small pieces of jewellery, perhaps some of its new owner's most treasured pieces.
Length: 8.3cm (top to bottom of the heart)

Height: 4.1cm
Interior Compartment:
7.7cm by 7.3cm with a 2.4cm depth. (2.7cm depth with the velvet panel removed).
The measurements have been taken from the broadest sections of the length/width.

This box will be posted FREE within the UK by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Delivery.
International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your parcel has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.
