A lovely vintage wooden jewellery box with a three dimensional carved rose to the lid and a beautiful fully refurbished interior. It dates to the 1970s/1980s.

This is a lovely vintage wooden jewellery box with a beautifully refurbished interior. It dates to the 1970s/1980s.
The Exterior
This box has a stylish hexagonal shape and a beautifully carved three dimensional rose and leaves on the lid. There is a further carved circular frame around the rose as well as carved leaf detail next to each point of the heaxgon. The rose and leaves are hand painted.
The box is veneered with a variety of nicely contrasting woods.
The box is complete with its original hinges and original peg catch which closes the lid securely.
The Interior
The interior has been fully refurbished by ourselves.
The base of the compartment has a new burgundy velvet panel, padded to provide cushioned protection for jewellery.
The rear panel inside the lid has a beautiful new pastel pink patterned paper lining which features roses. This complements the rose on the lid.
The walls to the compartment and inside lid have new high-quality burgundy paper linings to complement the velvet panel.
Condition
This lovely old box is still in good condition and has sound structure.
The interior linings, being new, are in immaculate clean unused condition.
The hinges and catch are still in good working order.
There is some minor loss of paint to the carved rose and leaves.

This box will be posted FREE within the UK by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Delivery.
International postage is £30 by Royal Mail International Tracked and/or Signed For postage. Delivery is fast, within 3-5 working days to Europe and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. Delivery may be longer depending on the speed of your local postal service and/or if your parcel has to go through customs. Please note that we cannot deliver to international PO boxes as we use a secure insured postal service that requires a signature.
