Lovely vintage black faux leather jewellery box with brass clasp and lock. Beautiful original red velvet linings.

This is a vintage black faux leather jewellery box. It dates to the 1960s and is in very good condition for its age.
The Exterior
The box has a black textured faux leather finish. It has a stylish carry strap on the lid and a brass clasp with a lock and key.
The Interior
The interior has two tiers of storage. There is a storage tray with two compartments and ring storage, plus a further two compartments at the bottom. All of the compartments plus ring storage have their original red velvet linings, and the compartments in the tray have their original velvet pads also.
The inside of the lid has its original fitted velvet panel which has two two bands where further jewellery can be stored.
The interior also has its original ribbon stays on each side.
Condition
This box is in very good vintage condition. It is structurally sound and has no damage.
The clasp closes the box securely and the lock is in good working order.
There are a few light dints to the faux leather upon the lid but these do not spoil the lovely overall appearance of the box.
The interior linings are still clean and neatly fitted. They have no splits or fraying. There is one minor small light stain to the velvet within the lid, below the lower storage band.
